ABOUT THE BOOK
In Mindful with Me, practicing mindfulness with your child can take just minutes a day, and will help you both feel calmer, happier, and more focused. From alligator breathing to volcano jumps, from a sensory walk to a bedtime wind-down, enjoy discovering new ways to move, breathe, relax, and create with your child.
With over 55 age-appropriate mindfulness activities, and easy-to-follow instructions, parents and children will begin to connect more deeply, feel less stressed and anxious, and more easily cope with big emotions.
Mindful with Me clearly explains what mindfulness is, its benefits, and how it can easily become a part of your everyday life. As you and your child learn side by side, you’ll not only have fun but also develop a deeper connection with each other. Plus, along with your child, you’ll explore feelings, build compassion for self and others, and increase self-awareness.
Whether you’re brand new to mindfulness or have an established practice, Mindful with Me will guide you in creating mindfulness practices to share with your child and help you set up routines for consistency.
Practicing mindfulness together makes it easy for parents and children to connect in just minutes a day. The quiet moments inspired by Mindful with Me give parents and children a shared calming break from hectic family life. The book will also appeal to teachers, therapists, and anyone who lives or works with children ages 4–8.
